The prior owners had told me the jeep boiled batteries for a while a few
years back. They ran into an retired airline pilot at Leo Porter's
Midway
Supply in Irving, Texas who helped them out with an adjustment. I didn't
know him, but it sounds like the late Dave Alwyn, a well-respected
figure in the Texas mil-veh community who had a nice obit in Supply
Line.
