The box you are refering to is the low air pressure alarm. The lead is
wiring circuit 85, which goes from ignition switch, to low pressure switch,
which on inside of firewall at center (has an airline going to it), then to
the alarm box. This lead is not part of the main harness. The buzzer is
wonderfully loud and annoying when you first start the truck until you build
air pressure, a fact I'm sure, which lead to many, like yours, being
disconnected.
