I don't think it is a coolant leak. I have a '73 VW Beetle and there is
ALWAYS a cloudy, milky white substance around the oil fill hole. Since the
beetle is air-cooled, it isn't from coolant. The guy at the VW shop says it
is just from stop and go driving. Says if you drive on the freeway for long
distances, it will burn the stuff off.
