Then the'r are those of us that dont follow any kind of rule and get
away with it. I bought a M105 trailer out of Ft. Riley Ks. last year.
Took my '93 chevy S10 (at least it had a 6 cyl.) pulling a tandem axle
car trailer out there. Firts I put about 5oo lbs. af tents in the truck.
Then the M105 up on the trailer. Yeah, I got some scarey looks on the
turnpike, especially at the toll booths. Made it back fine. Just plan
way ahead on stops. Speed was no problem. Uphill maybe about 35-40, but
on the flat, 55 MPH.
Like I said though I was lucky. I don't reccomend this anymore. And I
just was awarded the bid for an "Dodge 1 1/4 ton 4X4 cargo truck" up in
Minn. This is my future hauler. With maybe a 5th wheeler trailer when
all done. The little S10 did all right, but I know it was overlaoded too
much. Sometimes we luck out. Steve
