Hi all, been following this thread with a bit of interest. I'm a 23 year
old woman who has collected 2 vintage Jeeps, (both nearly twice my age)
with plans
to restore them. This "Jeep Fever" began manifesting itself with the
purchase of a Jeep Cherokee in 1997 (my S O's), another in '97, (mine).
I then developed an advance case, and bought in quick succession a 1947
CJ-2A, a 1952 M38A1, and most recently a '82 CJ-7. Needless to say, my
friends and parents think I'm nuts. Maybe I am, but the history and
mystic of the Jeep fascinate me.

Unfortunately, my funds are limited as a grad. student(myself and my SO),
and restoration
will be slow as we have no garage to work in the evenings (don't worry,
the
jeeps are under a shed!). The M38A1 is in the worst shape, lots of rust
on the body tub, and once I find a good replacement tub we will be able to
progress more quickly on the restoration.

Jeeps will live forever....
