Brent,
As Richard mentioned, the spark plugs should be wet if you've been
cranking the engine a lot. Fuel to the carb does not mean you have
it to the cylinders. There are several things that need to be known in
order to help track down the problem. You said that it ran, then shut
down. As soon as that happened, what did you check for? I've had
the inner wall of flex fuel lines collapse while the engine was running.
This shut the fuel off and stopped the engine. It also left the plugs
dry. When I pulled the fuel line from the carb and cranked the motor,
I had fuel supply to the carb, but when running and using more fuel,
the line would colapse. By now you may have created other problems
and this could make things real tricky.
