Perhaps Vermont Senators are different. I wrote to both Senators and in a
short period of time received two detailed reports. One reviewed in depth
that it is the State Department who is the problem not BATF. The other was
somewhat similar. The most important is that each committed to ask both
BATF and the State Dept. to give them a detailed report on what they said
was considered a problem by them and their constituents. Both have said
they would forward the final reports to me.
Hopefully Vermont isn't that different and that other congressmen are
turning up the heat.
