Dear;

Ren:

Your manual is correct if your vehicle has no oil filter. The purpose of
the
oil filter is to remove the particulate suspended in the oil due to
internal
combustion. If your vehicle is not equipped with filter you must change
the
oil on a more rigorous maintence schedual. You may use synthetic oil of
today but you must be sure all of the oil is drained out of the engine
before you install the synthetic or the result will be an engine full of
"Mayonaise" even if you use the synthetic it is my recommedation that
you
run your vehicle no more than 2500 between changes. An engine overhaul
is
more costly and time consuming than simply giving your MV the TLC it
needs
during its service in Retirement. Beginning with an oil change.
