I was the original poster of the question about the WWII French vehicles. I
don't have the response in front of me at the moment that I think you are
refering to, but I think I know the one you mean. I did not interpret this
the way you did. I took it as a sincere effort to direct me to a source for
ADDITIONAL and perhaps more information, rather than as being told to get
lost.
As I said in my original post, I'm asking for a friend, who will be joining
the list as soon as he is home, but I gotten several good, helpful responses
here at mil-veh, which I have forwarded to him.
If, however your interpretation is correct, I was being told to get lost,
then fortunately other listers also mis-interpreted this, 'cause I'm getting
answers. Besides, I've got enough US vehicles to keep the list(and me) busy
for quite a while!
Keep them rolling!
