I can help you with getting flanges loose- take nuts off PUT ON SAFETY
GLASSES - PUT ON SAFETY GLASSES - Hit flange right on the thing that
sticks out for you to hit you knee on (bound to have another function but
works good for that) Hit it hard with a heavy hammer and it should bounce
the flance loose and also loosen the taper washer you asked about. YOU MUST
WEAR SAFETY GLASSES I have a friend that did not and he is completely blind
in one eye and 80% blind in other from a chip of steel while doing this same
thing. WEAR SAFETY GLASSES please
