Dear listers........

I just bought an MX-6707 matching unit (antenna base) and the plasic had been
painted over with forest green. I loaned my wife's nail varnish remover
(acetone) and used this, rubbing the paint with a soaked duster. Eventually,
it came off, without marking the plastic underneath.
But please note, the MX-6707 plastic was originally a full-gloss olive
finish, which may have helped....it may not work as well on a matt-finish
plastic or on rubber......but worth a try.

Kind regards...

Ken
