[MV] CUCV Blazer Steering Damper

I am trying to find a steering damper (absorber) for my 1986 CUCV Blazer. I
have tried most
of the normal supply houses without luck. Does anyone know of a source or
if a standard
commercial blazer steering damper will work? Thanks in advance.
