Yes,a commercial damper 'rag' will work.Also,a damper from a CUCV pickup will
work too.Most of the designs for the front-end steering are the same between
the
pickup and blazer.Differences arise in pitman arms,axles; but the column,slip
joint
and box are the same.This should be an easy off the shelf fix at any auto parts
store.
You'll probably spend more on the gas to drive to the store than on the rag.
