[MV] 12V - 24V - 36V

The only reason why normal cars don't use 24V ist that you
need two batteries and this costs money. And 24V parts for
normal cars are not common on the market. Every MV and every
truck in Europe has 24V electric. So 24V bulbs are available
on every bigger petrol station.

Some big car factories like AUDI and PORSCHE here in Germany
have trouble with their 12V electric. Their modern cars generators
with more than 1 kW output. And this means 100 Amp and more at 12V.

So they want to use a higher voltage. They work on systems
with 36V (you have to stay under 42V for safety reasons).
May be in some years you'll find a 36V electric and three
batteries in your car.

So if you have a privately owned MV with 24V electric, keep it.
It is the better solution.

Best regards
Andreas
