[MV] Using one bat in a 24v system

I think I have mentioned it here before, I just replaced my 2 batteries in
my M151 after 7 years of ownership. I have no idea how old they were when I
bought it. For 7 years I have been running the CB off of one battery (12v).
Obviously, I did not hurt the battery(s) if I got 7 years out of them...

RE 14.4v

If you try to charge a battery using 12v, it will not charge. You need the
added voltage (14.4v for a 12 bat) to get the battery to take the charge.

RE 6v battery cables

Whoever wrote about using welding cables for 6v is correct. I stated that
you cannot buy finished cables in your average auto parts store.
