Other points to note about black out lights. In the early WWII manuals, the
marker lights were not called marker lights- they were referred to as
blackout headlights. As for the tail lights, make sure you have the correct
voltage for your vehicle. They were made in 6 and 12 Volt versions- same
body, just different voltage bulbs soldered into the sealed lamp units.

appearance but some were marked with "F" while the Willys were not. There
is also a difference between early (pre 1942) and later blackout marker
lights. Some of the later built GPs and all of the GPW units used the later
style. I would suggest you purchase a copy of the GPW judging guide from the
MVPA to help you in your restoration.
