So, you were the ones.....congratulations for the vehicles and
also for the impeccably presented tommies...
I must say the Italian contingent was also very well kitted out,
and had beautiful vehicles.
Yes I agree that crowd control in Bayeux (in Lisieux as well)
was non-existent. certainly harrowing for wide-bodies tracked
vehicle drivers, but also darn dangerous for motorcyclists: I
had to shoulder my way against the crowd and the large vehicles
more than once or yell/whistle to people to get out of the way!
I hit pretty hard an antenna mast bracket on a jeep with my
right handlebar, missing my pinky by half an inch, and sending
me wobbling...
BTW, the youngest one in our M/C group was riding a M20 Enfield
in perfect British dispatch rider outfit...
