Hello fellow listers and MVPA MEMBERS,
If you do not like the current situation with the MVPA BOARD .... than
please read on
I have looked at documents regarding past and current elections, and spoken
to
the MVPA President Lee Holland and also candidate Jim Gilmore. I think
changes are in order.

We CAN make a difference! The upcoming election is not a "done deal" yet.

407 votes were required to elect a board member in the last election
If we rally we can make a difference! We can get that many votes!

WRITEIN---- Jim Gilmore----- on the ballot and select other nominees
(Smith and Buck, the candidates that are questioning the status quo)

The Official Ballot instructions allow for "consolidation of ballots into
one single envelope for mailing purposes"
so................
Here is the plan,

1) prior to the upcoming meets/rallies we (those of us on the Internet)
network with other members (who are not online), who in turn network with
others about the MVPA BOARD ELECTION, make sure to post in your newsletters

2) have members bring their ballots, discuss the election and show them the
election documentation

3) select designated members to collect ballots

4) the designated member collects the BALLOTS at the regional events

5) the designated member notes the ballot count places them in a "single
envelope "and forwards the ballots to the proper authority and also
publicly post the information here

6) after all post are in the results will be publicly known

we need volunteers for each meet/rally , so now is the time to step up to
the plate and make a difference to your club,
Ron Fitzpatrick volunteered for the California September 9-11 Woodson
Bridge Meet
what about
Tobyhanna ?
who can do the Northeast, Northwest, Southeast and Midwest
