Let me update this again.

I've been looking at that number again and it probably is the right number.
What isn't right are two things. The prefix of "25". This should be an
"02". (possibly misread) The rest is correct but the "1171" in the middle
would be for an 1971 model which is very correct for a Ford A2 with a stamp
of say "3-71" delivery date. (That date is special to me as that was the
month/year I went into the Army!) Your title says 1970 model. Should be a
"1170" in the middle of that VIN number. It could be very well be the
"right" number but not for a 1970 model. Your jeep nut, Julian Burke
