In general terms it is the same engine, and you should be able to slot it
right in (or leave it)

>From memory the 3/4 ton did not have the pedals hung off the bellhousing
but the 1/2 ton did. You should be able to find a 1/2 ton bellhousing
setup and put the T214 back in.

Another possibility is that the T214 is the 12 volt version found in
Carryall, Command, and very late Weapons Carrier, if this is the case I'd
take a lot of convincing to put it back to the original 6 volt.

I'd be surprised if the WW2 Dodge Motor Pool, Joe Cimoch's Power Wagon
Page, or the Oz members of Maple leaf up couldn't provide the info you
need.

Feel free to ask, I have the Master Parts List at home somewhere...
