[MV] 44 GPW clutch won't release

Thanks to everyone who responded to my last post about the clutch that won't
release. I got to see (and drive) this nicely restored Jeep tonight and we
still have the same problem.

We have adjusted the clutch linkage all the way until the clutch fork hits
the inside of the bell housing when the pedal is depressed. You still have
to force the transmission into gear. I believe the problem is inside the
bell housing.

The transmission was checked out and is not the problem. I am told that the
clutch fork is original and worked before the restoration. Throw-out bearing
is new. Flywheel is resurfaced. Pressure plate checked out and adjusted.
Has anybody had a similar problem? Is the clutch fork ball stud adjustable?

Puzzled,

Tom Lee
