[MV] Success....or not?

I searched the DRMO site almost daily, looking for that "one" deuce.
I wore out my mouse and consumed printer paper at a rate that would scare
Paul Bunyan.
I asked questions. I gave thanks. I hoped.
I travelled to far away lands named Columbus, Crane, and Great Lakes.
I wrote notes with such fury that ink flowed like rainwater.
I filled many disks with digital pictures.
I pondered, and finally bid.
Then the waiting, Oh, the waiting!
A week later, what's this? My name at the top of the bid sheet!
Success!
But what happens next?
Being new at this, I call the Sales Contracting Officer of the sale and
plead ignorance.
She confirms that, indeed, I am the high bidder "But..."
Ack!!! That dreaded word!
Seems there is this "entity" called the Trade Security Commission (or
something like that) which must first give it's approval, a Deuce being a
Commerce Control List Item.
Ok, that's fine, how long will that take?
Up to 60 days for a "check."
AAAAARRRRGH!
I just spent 2 months being investigated by the Michigan State Police and
now the Feds want their turn?(I'm in the process of being hired in as a
Trooper.) Why not let people know ahead of time, so that the check can be
done and they can get the goods sooner and not waste more space at the DRMO?
The only good news is that the TSC "approval" is good for five years.

60 days? Great, that'll be just in time for winter up here.

I love our Government. Full-on FUBAR.
