Re: [MV] Korean War re-enactors?

What the hell is the problem with asking about re-enacting? Gordon, please
disregard the stupid flamers. Re-enacting and living history is an
important part of private military vehicle collecting and restoration. It
is an excellent way to participate in public events and get positive 'face
time' with the average citizen to teach them we are not all white
supremacist gun-toting idiots.

Do we have Gremlins on this list? Or maybe a better term would be 'trolls.'

The advantages of being a member of this list far outweigh the disadvantages
of being privately flamed. I'd stick here- definitely worth wading through
the occasional crap that comes your way.

The Korean War is a very overlooked period in US military history, even with
the construction of a national monument. Even if you don't find a group,
doing an impression from the period is not difficult. Field gear, uniforms,
and most field equipment is very similar and many times identical to that
used in WWII. Very easy to find. Email me off list if you have more
questions about uniforms or equipment.
