Re: [MV] 1/4 ton trailer ?

While the civilian trailer may stretch the point (although personally I'd go
for it), many of the "purists" in the MV hobby loose sight of the reality of
the fighting man, especially in combat situations. If a soldier needed a
trailer in the field, any trailer that could be made to pull be hind his
vehicle would do. His, opposing forces, civilian, ox cart...whatever he
thought would make life a little easier.

I have M series vehicles myself, and a number of people will come up at shows
and point out things that "are not correct", to which I say they need to talk
to the GI that put them on there, not me, 'cause I have made no further
modifications to the vehicles.

If the trailer "looks right" to you, & you want it, paint'er OD & have a
ball. A friend of mine has a little sport with this kind of thing and would
tell the "expert critics" some fine story about it being a rare
pre-production trailer being developed for the engineers or some such BS!!
