I wouldn't suggest jumping from a vehicle if it was in contact
with a power line. The amount of electricity going to ground
is like a lightning strike (quite a bit of the ground is electrified).
I'm sure the size of power going through line makes a big difference.
I saw a home video of a dump truck raised box that came in
contact with some high power line (don't know voltage) the driver
was laying 25 feet from truck on fire (he jumped). One fireman
volunteered to try to get to him, got with in 100 feet said he could
feel the electricity in the ground and gave up. Tires were on fire and
fire dept. said hydraulic lines would burn and box would come down
eventually.

Another problem with more modern tires is steel cords, they say
lightning can be more hazardous because of an easier ground.

The video was showed at an OSHA training class, for the non
US crowd they are a government agency that governs safety and
safe working practices.

Sorry I'm not a science guy no figures or computations.
