I for one would have no problem as a subscriber and a vendor making a
donation if Arthur wouldforward a snail mail address for same.
HOWEVER, asking just dealers/vendors for money will not go far, and isn't
very fair. we already subsidize
some of the vehicle shows, and magazines. if you keep holding your hand
out for money people will walk away
sooner or later.

i think the fair thing is to figure how many use the list, how much an
upgrade is, and everybody could pay.

like jim said keeping this list separate from any outside control is a
good thing, and its not unfair to ask ALL
of those who use the list to support it, since it is so valuable to all
of us.
