[MV] Oil leak on M38A1

List:
I just rebuilt the engine on my 52 M38A1 and all works fine except for an
oil leak. At first I thought the leak was coming from the drain plug on
the pan, so I drained oil, replaced gasket and used some gasket sealer on
the plug. The leak continued so I started a more detailed examination. I
discoverd that the leak is originating somewhere between the pan and the
skid plate, so access is not possible. My question is: does anybody know
of any type of additive that can be poured into the engine to plug the
leak, or must I pull the pan, find the leak and weld it up? Since the leak
must be on or close to the bottom, a sealer might be able to be added with
no oil in the pan, then drained before refilling the pan with new oil--just
a thought.
Thanks for any information,
Cliff Dahl
