A good tuning, and a good (read gas-guzzling) original Carter
Carb will do wonders... My "Ole' Gal" does 65mph easy whith the
windscreen flat on the hood... It'll go fast with the windscreen
up too, but... My windscreen is a good two inches backwards from
where it should be, so I guess a lot of the previous "owners"
must have driven her flat out too... Now, my summer top is all
askew and I have to pull the back straps all the way... I guess
I should have the windscreen frame straightened out... Does
anybody have this problem too?
