Hello all,

I'm hoping someone can help me with markings I've found under the layers of
paint on my M35A2-- I'd like to repaint the truck to represent it's original
duty.

Background:

1971 Kaiser M35A2
Last served with the Delaware National Guard
46871-0525-22856

Markings found on tailgate, and on front bumper, faded and obscured under
current paint:

TRPCMD 116 MASH 22

Found on rear under tailgate, and on front bumper:

4" white square with 3" high red cross

Original paint appears to be semi-gloss Olive Drab.

QUESTIONS:

1) What does TRPCMD mean, and is it consistent with the MASH markings?
2) Where can I find out information about the 116th MASH, where it served,
dates, etc?
3) Is semi-gloss olive drab likely on a truck manufactured and delivered in
1971?
