I received a phone call last night from MVPA President Lee Holland
who took me to task for a statement I made regarding my perception of his
opinion of the Mil-Veh list.
Throughout the ongoing MVPA election controversy I have strived to be
as factual and accurate as possible and in an effort to do so I would like
to post his clarification to me. I took notes and read his statements back
to him to be sure of their accuracy.
Regarding the Mil-Veh list he stated that, in our previous phone
conversation, he had originally said;
"The Mil-Veh Net is not the official voice of the MVPA"
"The list has it's value"
"People who are not members have no beef" (in this controversy)
" this is not their business."
I had stated that "...his displeasure with the list and many of the
subscribers on it was made very clear."
I stand corrected.
