I guess I am lucky and have a good T-C, my NP 208 (84 M1009) shifts
easily in and out of 4 HI up to around 25 mph (highest I recall
shifting). I found it helps to not be limp wristed, and not on the gas,
it is a syncronized box, but you are still crashing gears while doing
this.
