[MV] M-37 bits 'n pieces...

Good Morning World!

USMC M-37s have a funny protective bracket that enfolds around the tail
lights. Does anybody have either the actual pieces, the proper
nomenclature, or fabrication diagrams that I can use to have new ones made?

I'm also looking for the soft top (canvas) cab w/ bows. I know there are
folks that have them, and before I hit the repros and "big time" vendors, I
was wondering if somebody might have a soft top shoved into a corner or
something...

Just in case anybody is interested, I'm willing to trade website design
work for M-37 and Mule (M274A5 only) parts. Check out my Marine Mule page
to see what skills I can offer. Like the Marines, I take what's available,
make it neat, crisp, and presentable, and it's affordable... (To tell you
the truth, I've seen a couple of folks who would do well having a presence
on the web, and I'd like to help you out...)

FINALLY:

I have a sandblaster (glass bead). Do you have an air compressor? If you
are in the Orange County CA area, and want to get together to create a
blast booth for a hot weekend of stripping and metal prep work, or if you
already have a facility, and are willing to share, let me know off-list.
My M-37 has paint strata dating back to the Jurassic Age, and it has
informed me that it really wants to "get outa this amatuer paint sceme and
into good old Marine Corps Green..."

Take charge and carry out the plan of the day!

;)

Bill
