I finally got some reasonable insurance for my M51 5 ton dump.

As you may recall Farmers dropped me for no explainable reason. I was
put in touch with a independant guy who only does commericial insurance
and he got me setup with a policy from Progressive Insurance.

The cost is about $560/yr with 100/300 liability coverage and it is a
full commericial policy allowing full use fo the dump truck for my own
use. I don't have collision or comprehensive on it at all. If I were
to set it up as a commerical hauler's policy I'm sure it would be much
more, but for my use (farm use) it's great.

The vehicle is licensed as a historical vehicle in Indiana. (The BMV
could not figure out how to register it as a military vehicle, even
though there is a provision in the law for that)
