Henry,

The main body components on the M880 series trucks were all standard
over-the-counter Dodge parts (except for the obvious; antenna mounts, troop
seats, racks, etc.)

All of the sheet metal remained unchanged from 1972 through 1978. The
only differences between the model years was grille, headlamps, and tailgate
lettering. Cabs were identical from 1972 up until as late as the early
80's. Most, if not all, of the drivetrain components, (engine, trans,
transfercase, driveshafts) are same as civilian. The differences lie in the
front drive and leaf springs. Dash wiring is modified by the addition of
the blackout light wiring and relays.
