Hello Listers:

I am trying to restore a military compressor unit with a model 1A08-III
single cylinder miltary standard engine. I have no manual to work with.
The engine is running rough and difficult to start. Can anyone advise how
many turns are required on the small knarled slotted screw (Mixture ????) on
the upper side of the carburetor and how many turns on the T-handled screw
(High Speed ????) on the lower front near the bowl. I am guessing on the
function of these screws and the number of turns.

Also, anyone have manuals they would like to sell that cover this 1A08-III
engine and the Air Compressor Unit (Model G-311PC, Kelogg American, Inc..)

Thanks,

Kevin
