The Mt. Rainier ordnance was/is near Ft. Lewis and Seattle, Washington
state, USA, I owned a 42 GPW that had similar data plates on the
transmission case. I also have a 1940's pocket patch for the Rainier
Ordnance Depot. As a side note, there seems to be a lot of 1/2 ton WC's in
this area and i know of three VC vehicles that came from western washington
state as well. Not many 3/4 tons though
