[MV] Towing my new M109A3 home

I just got the sales contract for my first MV, an M109A3 shop van.
WOO-HOO! I plan to try to pick it up tomorrow.

I need to tow the truck about 100-150 miles from the DRMS yard to its
new home. Even if I can get it running in the DRMS yard, I will still
tow it, rather than trying out my new unknown brakes on the downhill
side of Cajon pass...

The towing guy says that the truck is too tall (at 11') to haul on a
flatbed, so he's going to tow it with a wrecker. My operator's manual
(the November, 1989 TM 9-2320-209-10-1) says to disconnect the rear
driveshaft, and remove the front one, on M44A1-series trucks, but does
not say that's necessary on M44A2-series trucks. So, can I safely
flat-tow my M109A3 about 100-150 miles without disconnecting the
driveshafts?

I'll try to get the truck running first and make sure the brakes work,
just so that I can take a few spins around the yard and see if any of
the wheel bearings get too hot. I'll also ask the towing guy to haul
it a mile or so and then pull over so we can check the bearings again.
Of course, I'll also check the tire pressures, make sure the wheels
are all on tight, check engine fluids, secure any loose stuff with
rope and/or wire, etc.

Any advice would be appreciated... I leave for the DRMS yard in about
9 hours! :-)

By the way, thanks again for all of the great advice and help y'all
have provided so far!
