Theres an odd wire, black, about a quarter inch in diameter, hangin off the
CUCV on the back, left side. it looks like it was origanally attached to a
point under the rear bumper, on the left side. It leads to a grommeted hole
in the sheet metal of the underside of the bodty of the truck. Its got heavy
black insulation, and has a 3 prong plug like this: /_\ in a triangle. There
are no numbers or other marks.
Anyone have any idea what this thing is?
I called the NG motor pool guy, and they said they dont think that they've
seen this type of wire there. The truck is out in the field all week, while
we get our brush truck fixed, so I cant take it for an opion at the base
until next month, at the earliest.
