It might be against the law for emergency lights to be left on vehicles sold
to the public, but I've been to county sales where police cars were sold with
the light bar, spotlights and siren still intact. My GMC M135, an ex-fire
company Civil Defense truck, still had flashing blue and rotating red beacons
when I bought it at a county auction. It does happen, stuff slips through the
cracks once in a while!
