Yeah, there is a 135lbs difference of weight between left and
right front sides. I suspect that in the post-war "surplus
years" this was conveniently overlooked by the rebuilders. I
even suspect Hotchkiss of using same weight rating for both
sides; whether they used the 525Lbs rating of the left side (or
their own rating?) or the 390Lbs ones for both sides, is unknown
to me.
