Re: [MV] People say the weirdest things...(Long, humorous)

I'd like to thank all of those people who have commented on the conduct of
my landlord's son's conduct. While my intent was not to draw upon your
sympathies, the unsolicited support I am receiving really strikes home why
this list, this electronic gathering of like-minded folks really warms my
heart. Almost makes my feel like I was back in the Corps.

HOWEVER:

I feel that I must respond to some of the more dynamic suggestions offered
by a few of us.

Sorry, I can't park the M-37 on top of the SUV...
The M-37 won't fit there sideways, let alone straight in...
I'm not sure, but I think he likes girls...
He didn't ride in on a horse, it was an SUV, and I don't want to get
close to him, let alone come into physical contact.
EEEeeeewwwww!
I think a Panzerkampfwagon would make a wonderful addition to his roof
rack, but I ain't paying the freight to get it there...

Seriously though, should he decide to try to pursue this matter, (and the
kid is involved in the property management company), I may fire a red star
cluster flare into the air and ask some of you to assist one of your
brethren by calling this Property Management Company and voicing your
outrage of their treatment of a vehicle destined for restoration.

I realize that this doesn't hold any weight in court, but there is an MVPA
sticker applied on the windshield of the truck, as well as a public
statement of intent (my website) to restored the vehicle. It is registered
with the California DMV as non-operational while it is in restoration
status. All of this should indicate intent to restore, and not to let the
vehicle sit there and rust...

My apologies if I have offended anyone, but I wanted to thank everybody for
there support.

Semper Fi,

Bill Benson
MVPA #20603
