close, but not quite right.... all ldt engines have oil jets to cool the
piston head. and all lds engines have oil passages in the piston head
and precise aimed jets to flow oil through these for better cooling. all
pumps seem to be the same, but the fuel rate is different and this can
be adjusted. BUT you need a pressure gauge on the intake and it would be
wise to have a pyrometer in the exhaust about 6" downstream from the
turbo outlet. 1200 F is the absolute max limit and ldt engines are set
at max boost of 9 psi giving about 950 F exhaust temp. the fuel rate
adjustment is a very touchy one and should be done one flat of the nut
at a time.
