I finally found the web site I mentioned in my previous

you will find a lot of 78 WWII JEEPS for sale in Europe
by Mr. Dennis Schneider (MVPA member 19728).
Going price is USD 420,000 ! for the lot, thus USD
5.400,00 each. I understand the vehicles will not
be sold individually. All or none !
Believe it or not, they exist and are there !
I have seen them in 1993, when they were still stored
elsewere. The condition of these vehicles is not
very good and I would suggest a complete rebuilt in
any case. They are ex Greek Army. I recon they
would need spares worth USD 2.500,00 to get them
running....engine and gear box rebuilt etc.
