I just talked to my dad, who retired from Jeep in the early 1970's. His
response to the question, was, "if they're pronouncing it Willis, they're
talking about a different company." Another vote for Willeez.
Unfortunately, we have no explanation for Todd's comments about pronunciation on
the films.
