As the pronounciation debate has wound itself down, there have been many
arguments about the source of the generic word +ACI-JEEP+ACI-
A few years ago someone here in the UK produced some good T shirts with a
jeep picture and it simply said
+ACI-Just Enough Essential Parts+ACI- .
Some wag also came up with CHAMP- +ACI-Can't Have A Military Purpose+ACI- but was
never brave enough to wear a T shirt with that on it+ACE-
It has always been assumed that Just Enough Essential Parts was not
gleened from any historic information - unless anyone knows different?
