Does anybody know anything about these landrovers? What are the problems to
look for? Are they prone to rust? What would be a reasonble price? The one
I am considering is direct from the MOD.

There were about 15,000 units made in total.Some were gas and others like
the Dutch army used diesel.Some were 24volt and FFR and some weren't.Some
were 12volt.
Early units are the most desirable for collectors and can be spotted by the
head lights in the grille.There aren't many of these and good ones are
usually worth more.These are 2a units.series 3 were the most common.Beware
of 1981(I think that's the one,or it might be 83)It had many oddball things
unique only to it.
I have seen lightweights sell from $500 to $15,000CDN.
