Depending on what era you want to "do" your vehicle (presuming "VietNam")
(and also presuming it will be "US Army")......... then 2" is the correct
size for bumper letters/numbers.
You can find this confirmation in the M151-series TM (TM9-2320-218-20) on
page 2-220 (figure 2-409). This sketch also gives a good description of the
shape of the letters used, along with the correct bonnet (hood) layout.
