Which is stronger, a drop axle or a straight axle or no difference? Seems
like a drop axle would give before a straight axle if both has similar
spindle strength.
How difficult and expensive is it to obtain a dummy receiver for a Browning
1919A4, A guy had a Browning for sale minus the receiver, but the picture
looked like a complete weapon..wondering if the bolt was missing, not the
receiver? Not sure of the price, a reserve auction on e-bay and its over.
He also had an FN-FAL, again minus receiver... would like to build up both of
the weapons for dummy display, but a little intimidated about making a
complete dummy receiver for either weapon. Are FN receiver blanks out there?
Pushing the limits of my metal working ability to make these things!
