I agree with Robin, too. I understand some states allow the hood number to be
the "tag" and plates do not have to be displayed. NJ is not one of them. We
have to have a front and rear plate. I've seen canvas covers put over the
plates
for some shows and activities. Still an eyesore, perhaps, but not as obvious
as the plates.
