The complete Water Purification Set (ERDLator) comes with a 1 1/2 ton
trailer. Bolted to the floor of the trailer is a 10 KW generator. The unit
operates off of 208 volt, 3 phase AC power, provided by the generator. I
have seen the water treatment units removed from the trucks and installed in
small buildings. When that is done, they are generally connected directly to
transmission lines.

BTW, some sets came with trailers that were specifically designed to
accommodate generators, and some were standard 1 1/2 ton trailers with
mounting holes drilled in them by the using unit. I couldn't tell you
whether the ones at DRMO Jackson have the trailers, or not. Although the
trailers are part of the set, they are usually carried as a separate item on
the unit Property Book. As such, they are often retained by the unit when
the ERDLator is turned in. The generators and trailers have many other uses.

John

Does the purification equip need outside source of power like a
generator or do they carry their own? And what size of Gen set is
needed? K
